Case study

We designed, built and run the Register with a GP service for the NHS. The service allows residents to find and register with a local GP by catchment area.

The service was designed to GOV.UK standards, and built on a modern application stack. In addition to the user-facing service, we designed solutions for geocoding, the secure transmission of medical sensitive data and self-service administration.

We built the service using a cloud-based micro-services approach, designing the infrastructure for high availability, security and scalability.

Our implementation saves the NHS an estimated £1.3M a year. It is currently used by over 250 GP practices and registers 10,000 new patients a month.
